Looks like a simple look at the rear vents won't do. You have to pull things apart to get to the problem, because it might not be seen simply.
I checked all the door plugs and everything is good with them.
Checked the passenger side rear vent and it looks good. But, I guess I need to check how it is sealed.
Drivers side will require pulling the amp and sub. That will be done later today.

I had this problem, my smell was inside the vents. Spray some lysol in the cowl right in front of the passenger windshield. Do that with your ac on outside air. If you run ac constantly in recirc there will be a smell. Turn your ac off a couple minutes before stopping and put it on fresh air. That's what fixed mine, hopefully it helps . GOOD LUCK
