Hey guys, still fairly new to Colorado. Originally from AZ. Went to an off road park in my gen 1 out east of Denver a while ago before all closures, What’s your guys favorites trails around Denver area? More into faster vs crawling. Picked up a new gen 2 month or two ago and would like to go put it through it’s paces.

thanks!

Yeah pretty much all the mountainous crawly stuff is going to be very tight to navigate through with a Raptor. I'll have to check out that offroad park you mentioned once things open back up

its not an offroad park. its a dirt road down in the springs that winds up the mountain. if you can wait, i will be in wyoming in june. we have an annual event in wyoming every august and i prerun with our staff members end of june. its about a 7 hour drive from denver. its all high speed stuff.

We took a full size Denali truck up a fire road just east of the entrance to Willow Park in South Fork. It runs up towards Del Norte Peak and circles behind and you can come out just west Of South Fork. It was in 2002 just before a forest fire took out our brand new log home and model. I was a builder for Rocky Mountain Log Homes. Can't remember the exact route but it was pretty well used and had only a couple of minor rock scrambles. It'll be one of the first places I visit when I get out to CO. Spectacular scenery everywhere as you are near the Continental Divide.

PS: It was an all day drive. Probably around 150-200 miles. Many streams and isolated lakes to explore.

I can’t remember the off road parks name but lots of pre runners and stuff when I was out there. Pretty cool little place my buddy brought his truggy out there. It’s off the 70E. About 45 mins from Denver

Unfortunately, the site doesn’t have any trails listed in NW MT. It’s kinda spotty but some areas (like CO), it seems to be pretty complete. There are so many trails up in this area though MT pinstriping is very real.

Your town has/had? a famous steakhouse that I remember was very good. Hollywood types would frequent it when in town.
