True. I was thinking of putting fuel stabilizer just because it has been sitting so much.

The Climate Change activists are going to be very active when this dies down. They are going to claim that this is proof that we can survive without consuming natural resources.

And if they’re not riding horses, bicycles or walking to and from they’re hypocrites not in a position to advocate for policy change they don’t participate in.

Why do I have a Ford F150 Raptor instead of a more virtue signaling, lower carbon footprint, more environmentally friendly eco-bicycle? BFYTW

So, is that why there are climate change deniers, so they don't feel like hypocrites?

Are there other reasons to deny that the climate is changing, other than political ideology?

There is a certain portion of the political spectrum that is denying COVID-19, calling it things like, "Fake News", maybe we should "Ride it like a Cowboy". Certain stores with a political ideology defying state stay at home orders, certain Universities with a clear political ideology defying stay at home etc. Guess which end of the spectrum.

This little gain in climate control was not brought about by more efficient means of travel, it was brought by lowering the amount of travel.

I’m having trouble keeping up. First I heard the globe was cooling and we were heading slowly for another ice age. A few years later, the polar ice caps were melting, displacing polar bears, rising seas, Florida was a goner. Now it’s that the climate is changing.

No $hit. Climate has been changing since the dinosaurs.

Please, enlighten us, the great unwashed, on what politically acceptable vehicles we should all be operating.

neither end of the political spectrum, nor the sections in between have exclusivity on stupid.

There’s a big problem in the disconnect in what the major market media outlets report vs. what the “rest of America” actually experience. N/O and NYC are hot spotting but rural states in flyover country aren’t seeing this. For RoA, the media reports actually are blowing things way out of proportion because they’re relatively unaffected by this. That may or may not change and get worse but that’s one reason why the public may not be treating this as seriously as needs be.

Enlighten yourself:

https://climate.nasa.gov/

NASA is not a media outlet, last I heard.

The Earth's climate has changed throughout history. Just in the last 650,000 years there have been seven cycles of glacial advance and retreat, with the abrupt end of the last ice age about 11,700 years ago marking the beginning of the modern climate era — and of human civilization. Most of these climate changes are attributed to very small variations in Earth’s orbit that change the amount of solar energy our planet receives.

The current warming trend is of particular significance because most of it is extremely likely (greater than 95 percent probability) to be the result of human activity since the mid-20th century and proceeding at a rate that is unprecedented over decades to millennia
