How much of a drop for hitch ball mount?

Big balls are great until you get old and then you have to watch out that you don't step on them.

Hitch rattle drove me crazy, Tractor Supply in NJ has the anti rattle set up and it really well $20.. I have pretty much the same trailer but with a H-D flat tracker on it and I went with a Reese 2" drop 2" ball and the trailer is still nose high. PA is where we used to go flat tracking back in the late 70's early 80's. Pine Grove, Emmaus, Birdsboro, Hanover Speedway to name a few
