Same compressor. I installed mine under the hood in the engine bay. On the frame under the air box with a remote plug and remote switch

Great thread.

To the OP, How and where did you route and connect to upfitter wires?

Maybe I can help a little... Wiring will depend on your choice of mounting location. The harness that comes with the arb twin kit is about 6 feet long so unless you mount under the hood plan on extending the wires. Ditch the elaborate wire loom designed an air locker and make your own two-wire-loom simply for the on/off switch.

Since I mounted my compressor under the rear seat I ran my wires inside the plastic door kick trim with the other wires already there.

Watching some youtube videos on the uplifter switches would be my best recommendation on where the wires are. Mine were buried pretty far in there, but I found them with some persistence. The uplifter wires for the 2017 and 2018 are in the SAME location but are DIFFERENT colors - learned this from youtube university after the ford manual didn't match the wire colors I actually had in my '18. Personally, I chose the last uplifter switch and it works great.

Heres my finished product

Sorry to bump an old thread. Has anyone else installed a deal ARB into their Raptors?
Most Raptor owners have no need for on board air. The demographic that would actually use it really is pretty slim. If you go wheeling enough to need to air down and back up this is great way to go.
You could go also with an air tank, but it all boils down to preference and needs at that point.

Thanks for the input. I've got onboard air in my 4runner but can't really find a nice spot for the ARB twin besides in the bed.

I have the ARB twin mounted in the bed.
