My windshield has a clear tint so I didn’t want to use the supplied mount Incase I had to remove or reposition. I can’t see the dc when driving and I’m getting use to the radar being there, it saved my ass a few times on my last road trip.

How do your cameras do for night shots? Clear enough or do you get light flares? I believe it was the Blackvue I looked at that had lens filters but thought I'd get some input on here since there were several brands mentioned.

I installed the dash cams and turns out it’s pretty easy. I thought running the cable for the rear cam was going to be the hard part but it was so simple, just followed the headliner around with the door seals and it took maybe 5min.
Now I’m trying to install my radar detector and there is no room for another set of mirror taps in there, does anyone know of another place up there to tap into?
