Sorry to report that our liberal Mayor (Moab) and county commissioner has convinced the National Parks to close. So effective today both Canyonlands and Arches National Parks are completely closed. Good thing we did both in the last week. Fortunately, while they are kicking people off BLM land for camping, they have not closed other trails yet. Weather is still no cooperating, but next week looks better.

It was the perfect day in Moab. Not a cloud in the sky and it ended up at 73 degrees. We took the RZR and did the "Poison Spider" trail (which seems to get rougher every year) and then cut over and did the "Where Eagles Dare" trail. There we end up at the overlook looking down at Corona Arch (maybe we should rename it to Virus Arch). As you can see the LaSalle Mountains have plenty of snow still on them.Trail 1.jpg Trail 2.jpg Trail 3.jpg

My Wife and I were there last September/October. Drove most of those same routes. Stunningly beautiful, tons of fun. Hope we can go back soon.
Great Pictures!

Took the already dirty Raptor and went exploring off Yellow Cat "road". Found some cool places and plan on going back with the RZR on Saturday and going on a couple of harder trails into the most north area of Arches National Park. The trails are on the topo map, so I hope we can do them. Saw several mines and some cool rock formations.
