So last year I bought GAIA gps app for my Iphone- good maps for mountain biking, hiking, hunting- I thought it would be cool it it worked with apple car play but it did not.
Fast forward a year later, They have an apple car play app- that allows it to display the maps on the dash!
I have only played with it a little - but looks like it could be fun for exploring.
They have free and paid versions.
