I wonder if this is a case of dealer-misdiagnosis on the purge valve issue, or otherwise some derivative problem?

I'm not trying to say I know...it just seems like the biggest problem with the gen2 is dealers' inability to diagnose problems. No clue if that's Ford not doing a good job of educating/providing documentation or dealers just ******** it up.

I would definitely get a code reader or use Forscan to check codes before taking it in. Amazing how often a quick net search reveals an immediate fix on everything I've owned that's OBD2.

2020, 3 weeks and 500 miles.
Only issue so far is my infotainment screen went black shortly after starting it yesterday. Contacted my salesman and did some research on this forum, looks like it might’ve been a sync update?
I was on my way to work, and it stayed black for the 40 minute drive. After my shift, 10 hours later, everything was working.

Hello! I'm a brand new Raptor owner. This is my first Ford, my first American vehicle, and my first truck. So I'm a newb all around.

So far, I love driving the truck, it's fantastic. However, after 5 weeks, I've had check engine lights 3 times and 2 visits to the dealer. First time was a faulty purge valve (was stuck open). This latest time, we will see (it's in the shop right now).

I've only put highway miles on the truck so far so no off-roading (yet). Seems a little bit pathetic that an off-road racing truck has had so many issues right out of the gate.

Anyone else had issues with 2020's so far?
How many miles u have?

2020 here as well

Drove my truck for 500 miles, now truck is at the shop for leaks (windshield seal).

So 1.5 weeks at my place, 2 weeks at the dealer. Driving a loaner F150 (basic trim) right now
