running windows software piggybacking on a macbook pro failed to load the driver correctly

used a microsoft laptop. easy

I apologize. I somehow overlooked that post.

Unfortunately you'll need a Windows laptop to run Forscan.
You can run forscan on the windows piggyback software that runs on Apple laptops.


What he said....
While there are tools and you CAN use your iPhone/Ipad, it's in a viewing environment only and you can't edit anything.

I run ForScan on my MacBook using bootcamp with zero issues. When booting the Mac as a Windows machine, you are 100% in the Windows environment and there’s no issues with drivers as a result. I have no clue what it means when you guys say “piggyback”, but if you use bootcamp, you will have zero issues with ForScan on a Mac.

As for an iPad, that’s a no go.

The idea is that the windows software thats installed on Apple is a piggyback system.
Just nomenclature.
