Carbon fiber request

Stay away from carbonplug.com if you value your time and sanity.

Ordered a few items, zero communication for 2 months. I sent emails, nothing.... Submitted PayPal dispute, they suddenly shipped. Items arrived, one piece is wrong, one piece has sharp carbon pieces sticking it out everywhere.

Sent them email for replacement, zero response. Beyond ridiculous!

At first, I wasn’t a fan but you’re right, they’re not horrible.

ETA: how wast the install?

@Nick@Apollo-Optics: I saw you guys have the hood and side vents - any plans on carrying the mirror caps?

Horrible. I had someone helping me who done this before and still it was very frustrating and I burned my fingers lol.

The cap removal was difficult too. U can’t remove the cap without damaging the clips. I bought new caps for this project but I don’t think the old ones would be good for reinstall back.

Overall I’m really happy with the outcome. Looks like real carbon fiber and there is no wrinkles on the wrap.

Would I do it again? Yes!!
Doing my self I spend $180

Would I spend $400+ for real carbon fiber caps?! In a heartbeat!!!!

The items we have on the site are from APR Performance and they do not make a carbon fiber mirror cap for the truck. We also carry Anderson Composites, but they do not make a mirror cap either.

However, we also carry Elite Carbon Creations and I just sent them an email to see if this is something we can do.
