37 KO2 vs. KM3

Long story short - just got my truck from a Ford dealer, previous owner had 37's so the trimming a leveling is already done. When the dealer got it "sellable" they put Toyo 35's on. Now that I got the wheels I want, I want to go back to 37's.

My question to you is which version is smaller? I'm looking for a "smaller" 37 and also one that is quiet. I've read many threads saying the BFG's are 36.4ish but have any of you guys gone through this dilemma and which one did you pick?

I've heard the KM3 is better in almost every way but has more road noise. I also like the less aggressive look to the KO2, but want to make sure before I pull the trigger tomorrow.

I've had both, and the KM3s are superior in every way and every surface IMO. After burying my truck in a soupy muddy red clay hunting field with KO2s, I resolved to NEVER buy another AT tire. I've had 37" Ridge Grapplers, too - better than KO2s but not near as good as KM3s. With that said, they are not perfect. They require frequent rotation to avoid cupping. If traction is the most important thing, then KM3s. They have a softer compound and are "stickier".

Based on your requirements I would go KO2. The KM3 will be noisier, and will be on the smaller size due to tread design, and if you live somewhere it snows they are also snow rated which the KM3 is not. If you plan on spending a lot of time offroad in mud and wet clay than thats the only reason I see going with the KM3, but you would lose snow performance.
