You can find 19s now for 8-10k off of sticker. If you do get a 18 then buy one that is produced after 2/26/18 as it will have a metal oil pan. Ealry early 2018s have plastic oil pans.

I'm pretty familiar with the obvious changes such as the shocks but things like the screen resolution and the additional telemetry data are something I haven't read. I personally don't care about the shocks which is why I'm torn between an '18 or spend $5-7k more for a '19

If I'm not mistaken, the 19's adaptive cruise will bring you to a complete stop. My '18 does not do this, despite discussing it in the owners manual... Makes the adaptive cruise useful where it is most needed, stop and go traffic.

Does it start you moving again?

One more item I forgot to mention. 2019s and 2020s sit higher up front. This maybe important to you.

For example, if you run a zero offset wheel with oem size tires (315/70/17) you should not rub.

Thanks for the tip on the cam phasers and build dates!

traded an 18' for a 20'. My 18' was 802a super cab with no sunroof and no tech package, the 20 is an 802a super crew. The live wire shocks make a huge difference in ride quality, much more controlled especially when making a turn. I did not notice any difference in screen resolution. Adaptive cruise is excellent, lane keep assist is hit or miss.
