Hey All,
Need to lean on others experience with different tire brands and their handling characteristics. I am a huge fan of Dura-tracs. Their street handling, at least to me, is noticeably better than any tire of the same type. I gave generals a chance last year and swapped back to dura tracs the next day.

The big problem! I am doing another project vehicle and need to run 305/70/18s and dura tracs aren't offered in that size. My options are
Yokohama geolander
cooper discover stt
various mickey thompson and pro comp, but I haven't had good luck with them
obviously BFGs but really can't stand them.

Most 305/70R18's measure around 35 tall by 12.5 wide. You could run a 35x12.5x18 and you'd really only lose a little height dependent on brand.
