Thanks, I’ll definitely check them out. Have you heard or seen any difference in quality or performance between S&B and Roush or Cobb?

COBB is our most popular. But if CA compliance is needed, then the only option is S&B. S&B will give you added sound and is fully sealed from the elements, which is a huge bonus over OEM. However, if you're looking for major power increase, you won't find it from a CAI. Unless possibly a CAI/Tune combo.

Does the single tube coming off the air filter like the S&B Vs the Dual tube set-up like the COBB or the AFE make any difference in Performance or sound?

It would appear that the dual tube design does provide additional sound as the louder intakes (ie. aFe Power Magnum Force Stage 2) appear to be the dual tube design vs single tube. That same intake also claims more power, however, we've not seen independent evidence that backs up those claims.

I have the S&B... I love it. Again, performance gains??? Probably not. I accompanied the purchase of the CAI with SPD turbo adapters, catted down pipes, SVC intercooler, and a tune from Goosetuned. So yeah, this thing rips! S&B has awesome customer service. My clear plastic box cover was a little off in fitment, and they sent me 3 more with the rubber seals to ensure I was happy and the fit was tighter, no questions asked.

Edit: I can definitely hear the turbo whine way better... CAI alone?? Again, probably not.

Whats the consensus for either a dry or oiled type filter for these CAI's. I know S&B and COBB have either along with many others, but which one is the preferred method for just street running and why?

Street running, oiled. Higher flow rate than dry.

The downside to oil is it is dramatically worse at capturing and dust so if you're in a dirty environment, you'll need more maintenance than dry.

FWIW, the stock air filter from FoMoCo is oiled.

I have the Whipple CAI/tune. It has more of a V8 growl to it.
