Posting an update.. after taking it to the dealer, they claim the “ticking” noise is “normal” for 3.5 engines and it shouldn’t warrant any worries. However, two days later I get a check engine light, used my accessport to read the code, I get back code P0022. Anyone else have any run-ins with this code before? New appointment tomorrow morning to check it out.

I would have to say that Sounds like a knock not a tick. Google says that code is cam timing ( witch is probably why it changed with 93)

Possibly a cam phasers?

Keep us updated

I have a '20 but it has a slightly different tick that the dealer tells me is normal. Sounds like someone put a playing card in the engine and it's hitting something like you would on a bike wheel lol!

Curious what it ended up being?
