All good installed today on Cobb pipe (I have Cobb FMIC). Really simple install with one bolt to undo on the existing BOV. Twist and replace..

And then put the blank in the end of the Cobb pipe:

To finish I cable tied everything to make it neat. I'm going to be putting a winch in that space in the near future so will tidy up properly then:

Sound is good, not very loud and appears to be inconsistent when it blows at the moment.. I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Only problem I had on the install was removing the skid plate.. The front end has taken a few knocks in the desert so the bolts are really tough to turn. I ended up snapping 3 out of 4 of the little metal brackets. Anyone know a part number to order some more brackets and bolts?

Looks like a good amount of tension on those wires coming off the BOV....that plus the plug being zip tied in place might be putting some strain on the wiring since the intercooler pipes move when you travel over bumps and with normal engine movement....

Did anyone with a Mechanical TS Bov changed to the new electronic one ?
If yes I would love to know if there was any difference. Just changed my IC and Iam in the market for a new Bov but I am a bit confused whether o go mechanical or electronic.

Was going to start this project yesterday but with my ADD front bumper, I'd have to basically remove it to drop the intercooler.. I'm getting my bumper swapped out today so I'm just going to have the shop do it.

The new electronic one is plug and play. The mechanical ones are not plug and play and can be quite an involved install

Yes - I think you're right. Install error rather than anything else and highly likely to be a wiring issue. I would be surprised if I had damaged the valve or anything else on the device itself. Once I get replacement Skid Plate clips I shall have a look again and reinstall.

Please post pics. Like the titan7 wheels you maybe the 1st to have the SVC new bolt on.

Yeah - SVC's new bolt on is going on in place. A buddy is getting my ADD. SVC has my truck now to do bumper, King 3.0, UCA, tie rods. I'll eventually do the SVC rear so it just happened to work out.

I think I will be - they put on the textured finish like the ADD too. The new billet UCA's will also be one of the first sets installed - just pure luck and timing really. Titan7 started the caps process btw.
