wouldn't buy a truck in Texas, ever. This is truck country.

put my money where my mouth is, bought a raptor in NJ and drove it back to san antonio.

these dealerships around here are out of their ******* mind
It's not a truck, it's a Raptor, and it's not 2018 anymore. Different ball of wax. I already posted a dealer in Austin currently has a '19 at 9k off sticker, Killeen has '20s for $5-7k off.

@Spursguy123 I bought a 2020 Chevy Silverado LT Trail Boss and if I could have afforded it I would have bought a 2020 Raptor instead. The Chevy is a good truck but after trading in my 2010 Raptor for the Chevy i can tell you I miss the Raptor. If you are in a good position to purchase one and can find one outside of the Peoples Republic of California (Sadly I couldn't) I would pull the trigger. I like the V8 a lot but with the excessive off-road driving and daily driving I beat mine down a lot. looks like lots of folks here love their Gen 2 and very few, if any, regret the purchase. Sorry for your bad luck but maybe its a blessing in disguise. Good luck with your purchase.

It's a truck. And as I said most dealers are in **** mode around here.

All the guys I work with drive trucks and they damn near get a group circle jerk
going over my raptor daily.

Not sure why. yeah, it's a cool truck.

I probably dig how deceptively fast it is considering the size most.

I'm in Austin but was able to get 3k off MSRP from Mac Haik Pasadena in Houston on a 2019 in February 2019 when most dealers in TX were still over MSRP. As @GCATX mentioned, more dealers are coming around now, so you might be able to find something closer to SA. Good luck!

I am from Texas, and after getting ****** around by my local Ford dealer (Covert), I wound up ordering my 2019 truck out of Chicago for $4k under MSRP. Texas dealers did not want to play the under MSRP game, and one dealer in Bastrop wanted $5k over. I will probably never try to buy a truck in Texas ever again.

I have a 2019 Raptor and my wife has a 2017 Denali Yukon XL with the 6.2. The Raptor feels way more powerful to me than the Yukon if that’s a concern of yours. The Yukon does get better mpg (20-22 highway) vs maybe 17-18 on the lie-o-meter in my truck although I haven’t driven it too far on the highway. Either way, I love the Raptor other than the engine sound but I can tolerate it.

I was about to pull the trigger on a fully loaded at4 last year in the pacific blue, and ended up going with my raptor! Although the at4 is a super nice truck and I loved the updates, the raptor was always a dream truck of mine. I got a 19 for $2000 off sticker from Griffith ford in San Marcos on dec 28 of 2018. Performance blue with the 801a pkg. The truck was still in transit and they still gave me the 2k off sticker. I love it! Got bronze wheels and eibach leveling springs and I couldn’t be happier!

McClane Ford in Fredericksburg sells any truck for invoice. Have bought tons of trucks from them and several Raptors and they have all been for invoice. Just bought 2020 Raptor last week for invoice. OP contacted them last night to confirm. Good info for anyone in Austin or San Antonio.

Just came from a Sierra Denali with the 6.2 and the Raptor definitely feels much faster. I didn’t like the sound of the TTV6 at first, but now I like it! Plus the handling of the Raptor is much better. More like a sports car...
