I traded my 18 Race Red 802a with 36,000 miles last July for a new 19 Race Red same options (except CF) for $7k difference. I moved my lights and Retrax Pro to the new one. No one at work ever noticed I had a new truck.

Can I ask why? You take such a financial hit trading up one model year like that. What made it worth it to you?

I only paid 65k for mine, I got 5k off msrp on a 18 in oct of 2017, rolled in a ton of negative equity too, then when I was even on trade value, got rid of the Black (didnt want black but only option) so upgraded and got Ruby Rwd.

$7k for 36000 miles is not a huge hit. Based on the mileage 18-24mo of ownership that seems like a great deal.

Thanks now I feel bad...
Tell me about it. I bought a new '19 a year ago and have 35k miles on it right now. I may have to pay the dealer if I ever trade it according to that depreciation schedule.

Didn't trade, but sold in 24 hours for $62k all said and done. Truck had 40k, pretty much as loaded as it gets with some nice simple mods.

I bought my new '18 SCREW 802a, all options, less the orange accents for about $65k...sold it a year later (had only 5.5k miles) for $61,500 in private sale. I did not recoup my sales tax, so i had to eat that.

I was actually taking it out of my company to my personal vehicle. Seemed an easy way to do it and get a new vehicle at the same time. I plan to keep this one longer...
