I'd really like to have this mod but so far I haven't been able to find the auxiliary wires in the passenger foot well. I've looked several times with no luck - it's well hidden. Anyone with a 2019 Raptor able to say where you found the wires? I'm hesitant to place my order until I know I can find the wiring harness.

Most of the time when they’re “hidden” they’re located high above the fuse box. You’ll have to feel for the little nubs. The instructions have some mentions and photos. But here is some more to help you out. Feel for them and pull them down.

I had a hard time finding it on my 19. Finding it was the hardest part to be honest. Just take your time, use a bright light and just keep reaching around for it. The pictures are a great help in locating it.

as for the mod, I recommend getting it. I got it and was super happy. Instructions are wrong. It said I needed 3 beers but ended up needing 6 beers.

Hypothetically, if I'll wire two last AUX to be on while truck is off, in that case it factory tailgate should work with truck off?

Example of what I have in mind:

Still won’t work. The power from the UPFITTER is simply used to activate existing components on the truck in the body control module.

You have to remember, all the other f150 and super duties with power tailgates have an interior tailgate switch. Our raptors have the hardware for it, just no button. What we’re doing is using the existing systems in the truck which need to be turned on to work.

the truck has to be ON or in ACC for this mod to work. Regardless of anything you do to the Upfitters.

On F250 the tailgate opens when engine is off as long as all doors are unlocked, using the tailgate release button (next to pedals adj). If you're saying Raptors have the same (or similar) hardware for it, why would the switch operate differently when wired to upfitter?

Hmm. Very valid point. I’m gonna be honest, Ive never had it been tested it with that scenario. So I can’t confirm or deny it works.

I guess there may indeed be a good chance of it functioning with the vehicle off if the Upfitter had power to it at all times. Because we are indeed using the same pin in the BCM module that the superduty switches use.

I'll research the idea of above a bit more, I'll post an update with my findings.

Just was wondering if anyone went down that path before I do.
