Just got this in yesterday from @FordRaptorLights.com. I guess this is the first step in my overland build. My fogs should be in on Thursday. This will be used to store all my camping and recovery gear.

I’m thinking I’m just going to put an air mattress on top of this and get a truck bed tent for camping. Eventually I’ll get a bed rack and rooftop tent of some kind. My son is going to sleep in the back seat area with his dog or in a ground tent.

Was thinking about putting this in the back of mine as well...WOuld be interested to see how it turns out, looks, operates after you install.

I currently have Builtright Racks, but I am craving some protected storage for various items and still being able to have a platform is ideal for my uses.

Home Depot has an aluminum one that is 48 x 48 x 6. Works good with a cover as you still have room above it

Thanks for the item post. While I like it, Deckd offers bigger, better drawers, that fit things like a pelican case, etc in then without any issues. That's what I'm looking for. I have a few local dealers that carry Decked, just haven't gotten around to heading over there and seeing them in person.

I'm going to take pics and maybe even do a video of the install. I'm hoping to get it done later today if my work gives me time.

I have a home depot one in mine. Measure between fender humps. I like that there is room below a cover, and you have a full height area at the back. Whatever works for you

I like the Decked setups and went back and forth about getting them but in the end went with a Retrax Pro XR instead. Can't wait to see how it comes out on your truck!

i was a rualy planning on doing both. The decked isn’t 100% weather proof, so I still want it covered. I love the Retrax Pro XR and the fact that I can mount t bar accessories as well as mounts for bed top tents. Being able to keep my firearms and hunting gear locked down, and weather tight, as well as whatever gear I have is why I’m going to hit up the combo of both!

I just didn't want to give up that much room in the bed. I still use the bed for storage under the Retrax and the Decked boxes I was worried about limits on what I could put in. I might do a bedslide as well, but still debating on that.
