I’ve got a ‘19 Raptor SCREW- coming from a ‘10 FX4 SCREW. I’ve always carried a 10” AR “pistol” folded up in the long side of the rear seat. It’s a pistol, so it can stay loaded, and it’s out of sight, folded up in the seat.

I moved the pistol to the same place in my Raptor, but the seats are firmer than the cloth ones in my FX4, so it’s harder to get the seat latched up, and the buckles on its scabbard are leaving indentations on the leather.

When I folded down the back of the 40-side, to get to the jack storage, I noticed there was a good sized cubby behind the 60-side- but I don’t see any way to fold that side down. It looks like it would be a perfect place to stash a gun, assuming there is a convenient way to get to it quickly.

Does anyone know how to get access to that spot, easily, and/or has anyone used that space for anything?

I have the Builtrite latch for mine and it works quite well...

If you have the subwoofer option, the space behind the seat is considerably smaller.

I can get mine down in 2 seconds... ;) :D

Was it worth the money for the couple of times I have opened it? Probably not, but then again it pales in comparison to the rest of this stuff I bought for my truck that were really not needed...
