I have a 2018 screw 802A, truck has 15,000 miles on it. When i first got the truck it seemed like the heated seats would get nice and hot but now they don’t seem to get nearly as warm on the highest setting.

Anyone else experience this? I’m wondering if the element has gone out, afraid to ask for warranty unless totally necessary based on negative experiences with local dealers service work

thanks in advance

2018 here, my seat heat went out a few weeks ago. You and I must have the same dealership because I can't stand leaving mine at Groove Ford in Centennial CO. Last time it was there, truck had 1000 miles on it and was in for recalls. Got it back with some cracks in the finish of front fender.
I decided to take mine in and get the seat heat fixed along with even more recalls about a month ago. Made an appointment, dropped truck off, no loner available, truck sat in their lot for 36 hours before anyone even looked at it. Over 2 weeks later they finally fixed it. B pillar recall was done and now I have rattles like crazy in there. I've come to the conclusion that it's better to have open recalls and burning seat belt tensioners than to let a Ford dealership open up anything on your rig. My Raptor ownership experience has been pure dog$hit from day one. Good luck with the seat heat though, my element was replaced along with the control module.

Sorry for your poor experience @SlickMachine. I have same problem with heated seat not working. Do you happen to have the part numbers of the items that were replaced, specifically the element and the control module? Thank in advance

it took me about 3-4 trips to the dealer.

First trip they were unable to reproduce the issue
Second trip they flashed the computer or what not claiming it fixed it
Third trip they finally agreed to warranty it, but it would take about 4 weeks for the parts to come in (I think they replaced the cushion which has the modules in it)
Forth trip is when I went in to have it fixed when the parts came in.

Works great now.

Excellent. Any idea if the module or the element was actually the culprit? Hard to believe they both shit the bed at the same time. Unless there was some sort of wiring connection scorching where they both connect. The element is $28 on Tasca, the module is $96.

I pulled all the connections under the seat and everything was fine. I may order the element and roll the dice. It's gotta be faster and easier than dropping the truck at the dealer again and have them start all over.

I think they replaced the element first and that didn't work so they ordered the module. It took over a week to get the part in according to them. That apparently fixed it.

Thanks. I tried to order the element, but turns out it out of stock. Glad to hear it was just the module, I may roll the dice on that if it's in stock.

Take it to Mike Naughton Ford in Aurora. I've purchased 3 trucks from them and experienced nothing but excellent service.

I have the same issue on driver side... are there 2 elements? One in the seat bottom and one in the seat back? If so, and both don't work one would conclude it would be the module? Or am I being dense?
