17’ Gen2. Decent amount of mods. I botched loading a tune - and am having a VARIETY of problems.

I was loading tune with a trailer and it’s lights hooked up, got in and hit start about 80% through the load. Said “tune successfully loaded” or whatever - but the problems began....

I get all sorts of error/malfunction alerts. traction.. hill decent... tons of them. My power steering is out. Truck runs fine, shifting is quirky here and there.... But - it’s ****** up.

I’ve done the KAM reset/battery disconnect. Re-installed stock/other tunes - SAME PROBLEMS.

Bricked? What next?

Tuner is NGauge. MPT TUNES.

BarryG,

What dealer did you buy your Raptor from? I bricked my ECM and my dealer in Vernal worked with me and it was an MPT. Did you change the tire size calibration when you originally downloaded the tune? I know the guys at Crandall Ford pretty well, they may help.

I noted whatever changes I’d made, tire size included, on the MPT tune form when I got them...

What was involved with the recovery? This is frustrating.... CERTAINLY MPT has seen this - ALTHOUGH THEY WERE VERY COY.

What’d they have to do to get you back to normal? Pricing? Hours?

It took them about 3 or 4 hours with their best tech and they didn’t charge me a penny. I have a buddy in Syracuse, UT that runs the MPT and he may be able to help you (he owns a tire/mechanic shop) Sometimes its a whole new ECM or PCM.

Damn.

This is scary, glad I bought a battery tender and attached it before I installed my tune. Not that this is the issue, just saying. It was even scary when I was doing it. I had COBB on the damn phone at the same time haha.
