I bought a bunch of new cars and never purchased an extended warranty (no Fords), this was my first time because of the new ecoboost HO, 10 speed, 4 auto, and drive mode technology, but factory 50,000mi drivetrain would have covered the cost of most and replacement of tranny, engine, diffs and other major drivetrain issues anyway. I would not have purchased extended plan if I knew it ran concurrent. Live and learn.
I paid about $1000 for the 60,000mi, I have 59,200 on the Raptor now.
Question if I purchase another 60,000 plan it will start when I sign? So I’ll have a warranty until 120,000mi? With all the issues I feel safer paying out another grand rather than replacing an engine or tranny out of pocket later.
