Just fix it yourself. I bet the part you need is not much.

BTW a Canadian Raptor or any ford product would not be covered by warranty in the US.
But PR is part of the US and that’s why it doesn’t make any sense.

Parts are relaxing to full headliner and all of the inside carpet which the dealer said is a few grand total plus the per hour rate

Sorry to hear that and thanks for your service!
I bought my 18 in NY and I live in NJ
Similar issue with 2 of my local Stealers, my 18 was throwing codes due to a battery going dead, ( I followed the book on charging it) Both dealers I called near me asked for the last two numbers of the VIN, put on hold then given a answer of next available date is 30+ days away. Then called a dealership further away and got a appointment the same week with several options. What does the last two number indicate, that location you purchased it from? I got rid of a 18 Jeep JL with steering issues and dealing with them was a total cluster F**K
I am relieved that I have found a dealer, not a stealer

Damn, sorry to hear that.. If it's up to me as a dealer , i would take care of you even better since you're a service member.

Maybe you can let whoever you talked to, PR is part of the US so it was not bought outside of the US. If all fail , I think you should get a lawyer and straight it out with them

Just received a bit of news from the dealer.

Their GM finally reached someone at Ford who approved the repair “this time”. The dealer explained to us that Ford still hasn’t removed the flag from the VIN and we need to keep fighting to get that fixed or we will run into this issue any time we bring it in.

I still have not been contacted by anyone from Ford other than the Rep that said he would call me back and hasn’t.

Fight on

This is particularly infuriating to read. If you're in a position to do so, make them permanently remove the flag before they work on it. In my opinion these asshats should be comping you a 7/100 ESP as well out of goodwill. Hearing this does a tremendous amount of damage to their brand, especially among typical F-series/Raptor buyers.

From my experience dealing with Ford Customer Service, once you call them and speak to an agent, regardless of the issue, they will assign you a case number. Once you have a case number, you should be getting responses from Ford relatively quickly. Did they give you a case number?
