Glad to hear - but I hope this doesn't turn into individual members asserting their singular experience and applying it as if it's universal. That's annoying.

Keep the Gen 2 and buy the Gen 1 as well. You’re rich, right??? This was kind of a joke. In agreement with several other posts, life is too short for what ifs and could happens. I love my Gen 2 way more then I ever loved my Gen 1. Ford guy through and through.

With that being said, and I’m not trying to hijack the thread, but I am selling my 2017 AG Gen 2. Hah! I need a 250 again. New toys to pull and the Raptor ain’t gonna do it. Lastly, I don’t have the budget for both. Hah!

Not universal
Just have a great running truck Is all! When i was looking at the gen1 to buy 5 years ago, felt the truck was underpowered, but this is coming from a guy with high end sports cars!

I have owned 3 gen 1’s put over 80,000 miles on each. Traded last in got $40k w 86,000 miles. Put a grand into it and knew it was just the beginning. Parts get old need to be replaced. Bought an 18 totally different truck. Have 32k no issues. Just bought a Shelby Baja Raptor incredible truck. Can’t beat Raptors no matter Gen 1 or 2.

Love my Gen 1, it’s SVT, and they aren’t making them anymore.

I’ve had great luck with my 13, 292247 miles original engine and transmission.
