Hey guys new to forum just got my 2019 raptor. Really dislike the open area where fog lights should be. Was looking at options but can justify spending some of the prices I am seeing. What are some more budget friendly options out there? Are there any options that just cover up the empty space?
I appreciate any help.

So you don't actually want any lights, just a blank brackets that covers the space? If so, I haven't seen that.

If you are looking for cheap options for lights, there's essentially 3 parts to putting in fog lights to the OEM bumper. The bracket, the lights, and the wiring harness. I don't think you could cut too much off the price for bracket and harness, but you can get cheaper lights. Not sure if it's worth the extra money saved since a kit will be designed to fit better, should have better lights, and will be more plug and play on the install.

@Whick1

We’re obviously a HUGE fan of filling those voids with one our fog light kits, but if you’re not into adding lights, there’s a company that sells these mesh inserts for the bumper cutouts.

Our fog light bezel kit completely fills the openings for that real OEM fit and finish look:

The mesh inserts can be had on Amazon for ~$70

I'm with you. I live in Utah and I drive down all kinds of dirt roads on trips day and night, but I'm still not going to spend a ton of money on accessory lights.

For cheaper options that fill the fog light area I've looked at:

F150 LEDS

Rough Country

Rigid Radiance
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-Rapto...e:Ford&hash=item1a4175567f:g:DEoAAOSw81dZuFDc

For now I'm waiting to see if I can find a used set of the Rigid Radiance lights. I really like the Amber backlights on them, but not enough to pay the price to buy them new.

Welcome to the club.

So we make pretty much the most adjustable fog light bracket system on the market right now. Our new CrystaLux Triple Fog Light Brackets. We offer a whole bunch of different packages based on what your budget/needs are.

If money is of a concern, I'd recommend go with the popular Rigid Industries Radiance Lights: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/2017-ford-raptor-triple-fog-light-kit-w-rigid-industries-radiance/
Rigid_Radiance__59462.1579651830.jpg

For $549 you get a COMPLETE kit and the back-lighting is pretty neat to look at. You're not going to get the BEST light output (these are more of a spot pattern) BUT it'll do the job for you and not break the bank.

We include everything you need in the kit from our American Made (right here on Long Island actually) brackets down to the lights and raptor-specific harness (real easy to install!).

If you can spend a bit more money then your next options would be the Radiance D-Series or Diode Dynamics Kits. They are $689

Diode Dynamics: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/2017-ford-raptor-triple-fog-light-kit-w-diode-dynamics-stage-series-3/

We actually let you pick which pattern you want in these kits. So there's a few options.

BUT if you want to just get one of the best and most popular kits, Baja Designs is the way to go. We offer a few kits to pick from

Sportsmen Kit @ $749: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/2017-ford-raptor-triple-fog-light-kit-w-baja-designs-lights-sportsmen/
Pro Kit @ $1,029: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/2017-ford-raptor-triple-fog-light-kit-w-baja-designs-lights-pro/
Unlimited Kit @ $1,149: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/2017-ford-raptor-triple-fog-light-kit-w-baja-designs-lights-unlimited/

You can also build your own by picking/choosing which Baja lights to go with (starting at $749): https://www.4x4truckleds.com/2017-f...ght-kit-w-baja-designs-lights-build-your-kit/

The Baja kits are REALLY popular as Baja's quality is 2nd to none. Their lights allow you to change your lenses any time you want so you are not stuck with a specific pattern. Available in clear and amber lenses.

If you shoot me a PM I can help you pick/design a kit OR as I said, if you just want to get a solid kit on the cheap ($549) go with the Radiance Kit. The back lighting is really popular on them.

I'd also recommend you check out our promotional video on our CrystaLux Triple Fog Light Kits. You won't find another bracket on the market with as much adjustability as ours. Plus we're the only ones who offer our Raptor Lifetime Guarantee on the brackets. Basically we cover the brackets for life no matter what (yes, that means if you jump that Raptor and land wrong and break the brackets, you're still covered). Can't really beat that can ya...

All of our kits are available here BTW so feel free to browse around and shoot me a PM if you need help: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/vehicl...2017-2018-f-150-raptor/triple-fog-light-kits/

My suggestion:
get a bracket and 1 set of lights, max. Don’t skimp, get decent lights, whatever brand it is. I like the Baja Designs lights, but there are other good brands out there.

install your bracket and lights.

wait for Black Friday sales and save $$$ Supporting vendors here are hugely supportive of the Raptor community. buy 1 or 2 more sets of lights to complete the front pocket lighting.

This will give you time with the lights to work them into your use case and by the time Black Friday sales roll around, you’ll have an idea what to get.

I got squadron sports in I think driving combo first, 1 pair. Next I addd squadron pro spots. Meh. Next I added another set of squadron sports and I picked up new lenses and reconfigured to squadron spot/sqadron combo/squadron sport wide corner.

The wide corner throws a cr@p ton of light everywhere. I was seeing road side critters like it was daylight. I eventually moved them to the rear and replaced with squadron SAE, and I kind of miss the wide corner, full power squadron up front.

Just installed mine a couple nights ago and love them. Makes the truck look better imo. And love the amber backlight look to match the other amber lights. Nice to have the added lights when out in the country at night also.
