I just learned today that the IWE system will be changing on the next F150. No more vacuum. They will now be electronic. Hopefully that will be an improvement. Only took Ford 10+ years to change.

honestly... is that really an improvement, or just a change?
What do you want to bet it will be centrally integrated via the vehicle internal network? How many new potential DTC’s will be introduced and manifest?

I suppose it’s too early to be skeptical but as represented as IWE issues are here, I really think some things ought to stay mechanical.

Same thoughts I am having. Better? Time will tell.
