I love mine. 110,000 and going strong.
If you can find a lower mile 14 that doesn't look like its been abused, grab it. I get offers on mine all the time, so I assume they are getting harder to find and hold their value.

My thoughts also. I need to further ask my mechanic as he said to stay away from SC'd trucks as I'd be changing them out every 35-40k miles. Priority is to stay under 30k miles, preferably 20k.

Not sure what kind of fear monger your mechanic is, but there are barely any issues with Roush or Whippled Raptors. The choice of fuel/tune and maturity level makes a big difference in how or what breaks.

I'm sure he had a couple of bad experiences with some yahoos that pushed the envelope with their tunes.

I just picked up a Gen1 out here in California. Good luck finding one with less than 40k miles. These trucks are so fun to drive mine has 95k on it. The closest I could find locally was 75k and it was a pos. Some of these trucks were used as trucks and I was looking for a mall crawler. I settled on one that is super clean with some highway miles.

Good luck with the search. There is a black one on this site listed for $50k.

Although in the minority, there are quite a few in the high 20's to 50k mile range. Now you do have to pay a premium for those but I know that going in. There was a 14' Gen 1 with 4500 miles that sold last week. Good luck with yours.

I picked up a 2013 Terrain Screw with 84k on it from a dealer here in Cali. I was looking for a good year for a decent deal and one that wasn’t black cause most of them were lol. Just gotta keep searching and jump on it when it pops up.
