Pedal Commander! Awesomeness!

Installed it this evening.

Turned off the car.
Left the door.
Placed my key inside - 20meters/65 feet away.

Keep in mind that my vehicle can remotely start from this distance.

20 minutes later,removing the clip was easy.

Plugged in the PC. Made sure each of the 2 connectors make the click sound.

Turned on car.

Hundreds of warnings and stuff were disabled. Wrench sign.
RPM doesn't move despite depressing the accelerator.

Damn PC.

I then think maybe re-connecting it will work.

So I unconnected the vehicle harness from the PC harness. I did not disconnect the pedal to PC section of the harness.
Reconnect.

Turn on car.

No warnings. Good.

Of course my initial testing is:

sport+ and +4 and car in sport mode.

make sure to test in normal(eco) mode too, for balance. I set mine and just keep the p/c out of sight.

what do you mean for balance?
I did test it in eco -4
felt like I was towing 3 tons

I trying peering into that area - doesn't seem like it'll cause a problem if tucked there?

I like the city range for the pedal commander - about city through city +2. This makes normal(eco) mode tolerable to drive and doesn’t make Raptor sport mode seem to hang longer in gears. Remember the P/C is altering the throttle signal, so any positive input you make in sport mode and the truck is going to hold gears longer.

So you have yours set to city +2 and in sport mode?

Do you mean city +2 & raptor on normal mode?

Right now I'm enjoying raptor in normal mode and PC set to Sport +2.

It's just right.
Gears don't hang and acceleration is sporty, instantaneous, and smooth.

Pivoting my ankle modestly yields smooth/spotty acceleration.

Remindsme of my previous panamera 4s in sport mode.
Not sports plus. Just regular sport.

I keep the pedal commander between city +0 through city +2. Usually I’m on city +1 as a happy medium. Here’s why

In Raptor normal drive mode ( eco ), city +2 fits my driving needs in almost every situation during a commute. However, I find Raptor sport mode a little too touchy in this combination. I prefer city +0 in Raptor Sport mode.

Yes, In Raptor Normal (eco) drive mode, City +2 makes the throttle response much improved. It is significantly muted in Raptor Normal drive mode.

Raptor sport mode changes the throttle response, among other things, making the throttle a bit more responsive. I don’t think as much as the pedal commander on city +2, but it’s way better than Raptor normal drive mode. That said, Raptor Sport mode prevents upshifts at lower than around 2k rpms, and it’s designed to hold gears to allow you to get off the throttle, steady it and then get back on the throttle whereas Normal mode would just upshift to save gas. The side effect of this holding of gears in Raptor sport mode is that if you are done getting on and off the throttle hard, the Raptor doesn’t know this and is still holding gears. with P/C on higher sensitivity, you move the throttle pedal a little but the computer sees a lot of movement and won’t upshift, thinking you’re not done.

That’s why I don’t use the pedal commander sport modes in lieu of city.

Just finally installed mine about 20 min ago. Wow this thing is a lot of fun. Rip the tires whenever I want lol. I got it on sport +1 right now. Still gonna play around with it to see where I want to leave it set.
