Are these the ones from December?

Anybody have their screen go blank just driving down the road? Resetting fixed it but it did it again 30 minutes later. It’s like it’s overheating.

Yep, just starting doing it. I don't think it's weather related (cold), since it boots up fine. I'm going to ping Phoenix on this one and will update you

I also get weird behavior like it will randomly go to the next preset, or go back to the home screen, or skip to the next YouTube video without any user input. I was hoping updating would fix it but now it’s doing this black screen thing in addition to all of that.

I had created a ticket for this is well. After it sat for a few weeks, they finally responded, then sent me out a new box. I got it on Saturday and had 10 minutes to switch out the old one last night. Although it could be psychosomatic, it definitely feels like an improvement over the old box. Definitely worth the effort. I do have an aftermarket audio system though, so perhaps the difference is more profound on my system versus the OEM system.

If nothing else, you'll get something positive out of Phoenix Auto, as they don't seem to respond and solve other issues.

My PX6 went black on me, during a 90min drive on the freeway last week. Resetting fixed it. I asked their tech support on the phone about an updated box, and they told me there isn't one for my order from June 2019 is the current one. Not sure I am buying it, as other members have boxes with different part#s on them, than what I have.

The file sizes are different. I am downloading now and will update with what versions they are.



Also- don't do what I did and format your unit without backing up your User Settings first. I forgot that and now I'm SOL. My Console app won't display Sync3 or my backup camera.

I had that problem too until I noticed no MCU version number being displayed. After running the MCU update everything worked again.

Thank you. I will try re-applying the MCU update as well. Forum member GLT was kind enough to send me his exported settings, and it got my SYNC3 back, however I cannot touch any of the buttons, and the Sync 3 display is shifted slightly to the left, and cut off about 1". So this is still a work in progress. That's what I get for not leaving well enough alone.

Update: got it all straightened out. Was set for Sync2 under Install Set ->F150HI so once I set it to S3Auto it works like it should.
