I don't have all my kids phone numbers memorized, nor do I want to dial it out every time or look them up by name. Am i just missing something? 2020 SCrew 802A is my first Ford - my toyotas and volvo had that right on the home screen and I guess i just got used to that convenience.

Use voice command for calling people.
Push button in steering wheel.
Say “Call Tom”
Sync will verify and call it.

I tried on a Mac and a PC. There’s 5 of those tar.gz files in the syncmyride folder. That one is the only one causing me issues. If I skip it the others extract just fine.

i know, i just miss being able to just push a button on the home screen and having it dial immediately. Rather than monkey with voice command.

I got the notice on my FordPass app. I went on my computer to download the update and it says I dont have any update available...

Instructions say format to EXFAT. Anyway, when I try to copy the 3 files over to my USB drive I get: Data Error, File is broken.

Sorry for your (our) luck but I’m glad I’m not the only one. I tried the OTA option in my truck too but that has never worked.

Can't seem to unzip the file. Keeps saying an file was created with an unknown compression method. Tried two separate USB drives and reformatted both.

A guy on the other thread said it worked when he downloaded it with chrome. I never tried chrome.
