Listen we all know the OEM Ford Tuning sucks ass, it did with the Gen 1 and apparently with the Gen 2 as well.

Your situation is a little different from what Wraptorboy is describing.
I've never experience that but I don't have Eco Boost turbos.
My daughter's 2013 Escape 2.0L Eco Boost Titanium doesn't do any of this, and I've driven it quite a lot.
I guess it's truck thing with Eco Boost being much heavier and big ass tires and more HP and Torque.
And trying to do an all around Tune for street and off-roading and altitude.

Are you running a tune yet? @smurfslayer

HOLD UP HOMEY! you’d better be careful what you type about the Jennifer or you will disowned by the tribe! The Vatican has even chimed in proclaiming thou shalt not impugn the quality of the 2010-2014 Ford Raptor.

you gotta be careful. You can’t even type that stuff in the smallest available font. Not even this one.
;)

no. no tune, only a pedal commander.

I chimed in on this in the event that -egads, I know this would never happen here on FRF but... just in case we might all be typing past each other, with our out loud keystrokes. Maybe it’s different, but on the chance that any of us might not be accurately articulating the symptoms, maybe we come to an understanding.

LOL

I've seen a couple of post were the pedal doesn't always play nice on the Gen2.
You could be freaking out the PCM a little if it's set to high, just guessing I never used the pedal commander.
Nor do I own a jenny

Smurfslayer, my "thrown forward" comment was aimed at wraptorboy, because that's what he claimed.

When I had the PC, a couple times when I was just cruising, let off the gas for a split second then hammered down, nothing happened, actually losing all pedal input for a second or two, then back to normal. Toward the end of the few months I had the PC, the truck would randomly go into limp mode. I did buy it used, so I threw the PC in the trash. I now have the less expensive Burger version, no issues in probably 6 months. The Burger actually requires you to calibrate the gas pedal travel when it's installed, maybe that is key.

Yeah, back when I bought, P/C was all the rage and tunes were vaporware. I discovered the no throttle response issue when the truck was stock. If anything, P/C at least makes eco mode acceptable, though it still jumps to 10th gear way too fast.

I was just trying to illustrate this -what I believe to be a- throttle by wire oddity.

Has anyone done the pedal reset procedure? That will restore the smoother, linear throttle response through the motion of the pedal. I do not think just draining the battery fixes this, so you will have to follow the relearn procedure which involves key cycles, and moving the pedal.
