Headlights Fogged

For the life of me I don’t remember my previous gen 2s doing this in the cold weather. Can it be normal? 2020 headlights in cold PA weather.

I am in MA and we had some pretty cold temps over the weekend. Mine did the same exact thing and then went right away. I will keep my eyes on it - I dont recall it happening to me last winter.

My 18 did the other day as well.. asked on here, was advised they have vents in them.. as long as it continues to go away, i guess its fine.

my ocd will go nuts if i see streaks inside the light from a condensation drip, and I cant get to it. Ok for now tho

I had the same thing happen on my GT350 the other day and it was not very cold. It will become a problem if I see drips, but they look clean so far. I have never seen it on my 2018 Raptor.

Picked up my 20 last week. It was 10 degrees out, the headlights were fogged up.. Within a day it was gone.

This has happened to me in the last month or so a few times...and I was going to post up on here about it. I am going to ask next time it goes into the dealer but it always seems to go away. For me it comes when its raining pretty hard for extended periods. I park outside.

I have a 17 and live where it freezes almost every night and have never had this issue. It looks like you guys have a seal issue?

Lamp Assembly Condensation

Exterior lamps are vented to accommodate normal changes in pressure. Condensation can be a natural by-product of this design. When moist air enters the lamp assembly through the vents, there is a possibility that condensation can occur when the temperature is cold. When normal condensation occurs, a thin film of mist can form on the interior of the lens. The thin mist eventually clears and exits through the vents during normal operation. Clearing time may take as long as 48 hours under dry weather conditions.

Examples of acceptable condensation are:

Presence of thin mist (no streaks, drip marks or droplets).

Fine mist covers less than 50% of the lens.
Examples of unacceptable moisture (usually caused by a lamp water leak) are:

Water puddle inside the lamp.

Large water droplets, drip marks or streaks present on the interior of the lens.

Take your vehicle to a dealer for service if any of the above conditions of unacceptable moisture are present.

How cold did the temp drop to do that? I’m in ky and I know it’s not as cold as where your at but it got down to 12 degrees the other night and my 19 didn’t have any issues
