Hey all. So I have done zero customizing to the engine on my 18 Raptor. But I recently (today) took it in to a skilled off road and racing shop, they do all the work for the dealer I bought the truck from in regards to adding custom parts presale on the dealer trucks. Anyway, I had them add on a turbosmart BOV because I dont like messing w/ this enginee and they guarantee all work for life.. Other than that all custom parts are cosmetic (Lighting, bumper delete, borla, wrap). Anyway, they mentioned there was a lot of oil in the intake, and probably the intercooler. I do run it high rev at the dunes but is it normal to suck that much oil up? And what will the dealer do? Its 2 years old with 25k, so still under factory warranty, plus I bought the ford 100k/5yr warranty. I mean..can that issue even be helped? will they install an oil catch? Whats the harm if I do nothing? Thanks in advance.

Oh also dealer does all regular maintenance, and Im always early or on time, never below 10%.

Oil in the intake tract is normal. It's being pulled through the PCV system, if your concerned with it a catch can may help. If your only showing 10% oil usage between services I would just let it be, use the catch can money for a couple tanks of fuel to play on the dunes!
