2021 is the same they heard. ;)

I'll flip Gen 2 as soon as there's a drop date. :)

Ford is definitely going to change the suspension. Lol all those test mule pictures just didn’t happen out of coincidence. However, I am not sure if I am comfortable switching to an entirely new rear suspension setup that Ford has not brought to market on the Raptor yet. I don’t like being the guinea pig for anything. I imagine they have been testing the rear suspension on the Bronco too. Who knows.

The 2020 seems dialed in. Most of the people that had a 17-19 and switched to a 20 and has noted the shift points are better and the truck seems to ride better overall.

I do think 2021 will be the last year of the Gen 2 Raptor before Ford pulls it for a redesign of the new F150. I think this is in part why they are bringing the rear suspension to market in 2021—they will have feedback on how it performs and ages. All of the information will be used to make the Gen 3 Raptor that much better.

Ya. when I attended Raptor Assault November 2019, ( the day before Thanksgiving ) the instructors there hinted / head nodded / winked, that there was something BIG coming out in 2021 for the Raptor. ''WOW'' were their actual words with big eyes . . .

Seems like every year, someone on here heard from someone who works at ford that big changes are coming. I suppose if people keep saying that every single year, eventually they'll be right.

Agreed. It has been almost as consistent as the guys claiming nothing could possibly change.

I agree and get what you are saying: people have said a lot of stuff throughout the years that was not credible. But test mule pictures are not hearsay. The Bronco R ran a modified rear suspension to what the test mule pictures seem to indicate is coming on the Raptor. Now whether that suspension is coming for 2021 or on the next generation, I don’t know. But this isn’t some fake news. Ford has to do something different on the Raptor because there are not many upgrades they can offer from 2020 to 2021 besides what? Wireless CarPlay? The upgrades from 2017-18 to 2019-20 have been slim.

It will be interesting to see whether they keep the Fox Live shocks.
