Mine does this horribly as well. Still trying to find out why.

All previous Fords I have had have exhibited this behavior after a period of time. It seemed that the worse this problem got, so did the doors not wanting to latch when it gets extremely cold.

I would assume seals, or as @EricM mentioned, maybe not keeping the vents in recirc?

Didn’t think about that w my beater ass 2000 Taurus but it makes sense. Doors were close to not wanting to latch on the ‘09 Edge today in -3* but reluctantly closed with a strong push.

Mine did the same thing when my satellite antenna was leaking. If you have sunroof, there are two vent tubes as well that can get clogged which causes water/moisture to gather at the top of the windshield.

There is a drain tube for the AC/Heater cores sticking out of the firewall down by the passenger side behind the cylinder head.
This can fall back into the firewall and the condensation will drip in the cab instead of out and can also get clog.
There are posts about it, just do a search using the forum search.

I just replaced my 3rd brake light with a Recon in hopes that the leak would stop. It hasn't, I believe my water problem is drivers side rear corner of the back glass. Trying to find someone who will replace the seal for a reasonable price.

The rear windows come pre-sealed from the factory. The nuts & studs pull it tight and secure the seal, did you get this fixed? If not you may just need to pop the trim and torque the nuts properly.

yeah, it got fixed a long time ago. along with new carpet and new amplifier. it always looked like a small drip, but the hole was pretty substantial. i never knew it because it was replaced in ca and we didnt have any rain for quite a while. only in texas did i notice it. took a nap in the back seat and i kept getting splashed with water.

but same thing here, there could be a missed spot on the windshield and water could be coming in that way. just figured we would cover all points

I finally found someone who wanted to do the job, and only wants 275.00 to take it out, reseal and he also said he would replace the rivet up top on both side and new molding. He told me that the rivets are what the problem are. Said water gets into them and I allows it to travel down the back into the corners. He told me he fixed a bunch for Ford. So I feel confident he can solve the problem.
