First off Im new to the forum. I have a 2014 Raptor and over New Year’s Eve I did some off roading. The ride ended with hitting the right front tire on a 3’ tall rock. It was a pretty big impact throwing off my alignment and moving the a arm. Right after impact the trac light came on and I lost power steering. I got the truck to an alignment shop and had that straightened and ordered a new power steering pump. I had that installed today and no luck. I’m thinking it might be my rack and pinion. Anyone have any issues with that or ideas. I thought for sure it was going to be the pump. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Hopefully you saved the old pump, it will be a nice spare! It seems reasonable that if the steering rack hits the rock that would be your first point of diagnosis. Make sure when you replace the rack you completely flush the system. Whatever crap was in there from wear, plus whatever got in their during the damage is just floating around eating components right now.
