Hi All, first off a big thanks. Very impressed by the knowledge and vendor support on these forums!

Picked up this 2013 Screw loaded minus sunroof and front trail cam in Race Red, with the forged beadlock wheels, 94k miles. Will be using this for my daily as my current car is pretty extensively modified and become a bit inconvenient, car will become weekender\project status. Previous truck was a 15 GMC Canyon All Terrain V6.

Truck was a 2 owner (Father->Son after he passed) with clean carfax and decent service history, oil changes at 5k on the dot at Ford its whole life - however, it was absolutely filthy inside and out.

**IMGUR Album here with some random pics**

Immediately went through most of the 100k service items:
  • Oil Change, Pennzoil Platinum 5w20 & Motorcraft filter
  • Air filter, Fram Ultra - Quick throttle body clean up
  • Transmission pan drop - motorcraft filter, Mercon LV fill ~6-7qts
  • Transfer case drain/fill with Mercon LV
  • Power steering reservoir drain/fill with Mercon LV
  • Spicer rear diff cover + lube locker gasket + Valvoline Syn 75w140
  • Front diff fluid suction\fill, Valvoline Syn 75w90 + 2oz XL3 (fluid already has LS additives)
  • Shock rebuild + upgraded seals & shrader valves from Texas Shock Works
  • Motorcraft plugs + generic carquest pro wires (this was not fun)
  • Coolant flush w\prestone cleaner & 5 rounds of distilled water, filled with generic carquest coolant to 50/50
  • Rear brake pads, Akebono ProACT ceramic, brake fluid flush with ATE DOT4
  • Fuse relocation was previously done under warranty
Some "make it your own" mods:
  • Toff spray in liner, Bakflip MX4, DeeZee tailgate assist
  • Generic LED pods for bed lighting with inline fuse direct to battery, toggle switch in the bed.
  • Sync upgraded to 3.10, it was on some ancient firmware and didn't work great with my Oneplus 6T
  • Front two windows tinted with SunTek ceramic 25%
  • Stubby Antenna
  • Touch up paint on major chips and a "quick" 2 step compound\polish, seal with Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating
Future mod plans are a corsa sport or volant exhaust, remote tailgate lock, rigid fog\pocket lights, and endless trips to the gas station.

Future maintenence plans will probably include a rear diff pinion bearing, truck has quite the whine at 45mph only on the throttle\drive side. Ford tech diagnosed as "tire noise" during the PPI but I disagree. K02s are about 2 years old and are pretty quiet overall.

Appreciate any advice, tips, questions, or feedback you guys have to offer. Cheers.

Nice! Slick looking truck. Those plastic center stripes seem to wear down on every one of these trucks.... mine only has 40,000 miles and it's worn through. How did you replace it? What material did you use?

Thanks, I'm not sure why the leather stripe wears, I think its because its really thin. I went to a JOANNs and got a yard of red marine grade vinyl and used the old strip as a template. It's not quite as recessed into the wheel as the oem piece but it looks a million times better.

Builtright industries offers a kit for $25 that is basically the same thing, they have a youtube vid on how to stitch it.

If the doors seem loose or seem to rattle at times, I'd look at doing the door seal mod (putting in the surgical tubing). I did that about 3 months after I got mine in August and wow, what a difference it made. Also dropped 2db in the cab (I know, not huge but still a drop).

Thanks, I saw that sticky. They do rattle a bit over some bumps, will look into it!
