GEN 1 Bought truck with 1 key and mykey activated. Help Please.

Same here with the exception of the mykey, luckily the single key I got with the truck wasn't mykey'd. I got the blank from amazon or ebay, local key shop cut it for free, local dealer charged $78 to program the new key. BTW once you have 2 keys I believe you can program a 3rd yourself without forscan/dealer (I know doesn't help right now but FYI it's in the manual).

That key didn't have any buttons on it, so it might be different cost for a Raptor key, but its worth a shot. I had no issues with the new keys shipped to me.. a friend of mind did the same for a GMC product with no issues. Not sure how all of that will work with the mykey functions.

Small hint for all.. if you end up at a KeyMe... start the process, scan the key, etc.. somewhere in the middle of your order, cancel and exit out.. during that process, the kiosk will try to get you to not exit and offer a discount.. maybe 20%?

For that car, the remote was separate from the key (ie the unlock/lock etc functions) I did order remotes from Amazon and had to do a key switching off/on sequence to program the new remotes.. not sure if there is something like that for the remote functions on the Raptor keys.. maybe that is where the forscan comes in?

You only have 1. Without Forscan, there is nothing you can do. Using Forscan, you can do whatever you want.

If you have 2 good keys, you can program more cut keys yourself very easily. This is all in your owner's manual. You should consider reading it.

Your only other options are to pay a locksmith to make a copy/clone your key, or you can do the dealer route which will be done right- clearing the old lost key out of the system and adding in the new 2nd key.
