I usually check KBB but it does not look very accurate for the raptor

Typically mark up on new cars is 7% over invoice

Mark up on the 802a is approx $4500, Msrp to invoice. Dealer hold back is an additional 3% or approx. $2500. So mark up from true dealer cost from Ford to MSRP is approx. $7000. Any other invoice #s are fabricated by dealer and would include mark up they themselves added or after mkt equipment they added.

Any reputable dealer should be willing to show you the invoice which would indicate both of these numbers to you. If not, move on.

If a dealer is offering over the $7000 in disct they must have added equipment or some type of added $ to the msrp on their own to show a bigger disct as it doesnt truly exist. Dealers often add a mkt adjustment or something, which is a bogus ploy to make more $ or show more mark down when it doesnt truly exist.

If they aren't making it up that way, or in their finance dept by selling you warranties, after mkt products, bumping your interest rate over what you qualify for, etc, or in ******** you on your trade-in, they would truly be losing $ selling you the truck.

Also poor idea to buy a premodified truck. This is where dealers kill you. They way over charge for the additions with bogus mark ups on items you could often buy way cheaper or install much better product than they did on you own.

I always pay separately if have any modifications done on my own after I purchase the truck.

If theyve modified it, they must strip all the bs off of it or buy another truck, otherwise you're likely getting screwed.
