The only option I really want is the 802 a package that puts me at about $67,000… So a $7000 discount is about a 10 or 11% discount…

has anyone got any good deals on a 2019? I saw some threads where they were looking at $10,000 off which is like 15% discount

What is the best deal I could expect to find?

I got 10% off MSRP on a pretty loaded 2019 SCREW and that was the end of October. I see now many dealers are taking $10K off MSRP.

Quite frankly, I see brand new 2020 model year on dealer lots now they are taking healthy discount off of. I would have wiaited a couple months and got the 2020 if I did it again....

In New England, I'm seeing a few dealerships with $5k off MSRP on 2020 802a models. Currently working a deal myself that's $6k off MSRP (20 802a).

The 2020 model has no significant changes correct?

As far as significant changes, I'd so no, with the exception of the updated sync 3 software. I'm no expert, but I'd like to think the oil consumption and Cam phaser issues(s) have been addressed on 2020 models. Fingers crossed..

Isn't this a coincidence. I guess this backs up my thread on raptor depreciation. Pretty sad that just 12-36 months ago dealers would not come off from $ 5000 to $ 20,000.00 ( California) OVER MSRP, now the same vehicle in 2019-2020 with added options is selling for $ 10,000.00 under MSRP. I wonder what changed from 2017 to 2020 ? What changed is FMC over produced the raptor out of greed for volume and that for all intensive purposes has killed the retainage value of a Ford Raptor. Now a truck that was always known for holding it's value extremely well is no different than a Ford XLT. You could save yourself some money and buy a loaded XLT Lariet or even a loaded platinum and they will probably depreciate less than a ford raptor.

Or even better, the smart buyer will find a well taken care of GEN. 1 Raptor with low miles on it because they hold their value better and don't depreciate like a boat anchor.

I got 6K off my 18. Sticker was 71k all options except beadlocks and seats. I paid 65K, no trade and dealer fees. Dealer said he made 1k on holdback. If you get 7K off, dealer is probably break even. Also, dealers offering 10k off, make it back in trades, add-ons scams and financing.

Doggget Ford is the lowest price Houston with 6K off with no add-ons and markups. If you get 6K off, that's a good deal.

That is not true just like the other thread. They are holding there valve better than there competition at about 15% depreciation. One they are no longer producing them the value will hold. This is the exact same thing that happened to the gen 1. Why buy used when you can buy new, once you can’t buy new the second hand market will be the only way thereby holding there value over the next 7 yrs. sorry but the sky is not falling this is the natural pattern of these trucks. Also the value of the gen 1 trucks have been falling off of a cliff around here (still way better than competition) over the last 2 yrs as well so not just the Jenny.

Take your blue oval glasses off and stop drinking the kool aid and do your homework. The real depreciation is more like 20 percent over 12-24 months. And if you don't think a ford dealer is not going to take into account model year incentives when you trade your raptor in, just like NADA or KBB, I have ocean front property to sell you in Montana.
