I like to keep moving but have had to sit for hours a few times in 6 years ( I missed one). Snacks are very important as well.

Ditto. Even though each group typically stops for lunch, the last Snoball I attended, we were stopped on the trail for 12 hours.

We left around 8:30am and got back to the hotel around 6:00am. Long 22hr day but despite the issues, it was the best day of the event.

If I recall, our group caught up to you and helped get you two unstuck a couple times. :)

RDFTS What’s up! We had a rough Dishno for sure, it was only my second time to get stuck in all of my times at Snoball it later turned out to be a driver side inner CV going bad. 14 hours to break that trail. I was running chase and I sat for 10 hours 1 mile in then we moved up about 2 miles only to sit for another hour. Then we hauled ass to the end.

Tom G towed Kevin about half of that road!

Jason burned about 50 gallons of gas and drove out and back in the last 3 miles about 5 times to help a bunch of us.

We did actually have fun on Dishno but it looks like another group will get the fun this year.

I haven’t seen yet which groups are breaking trail. You have? Jason decide to do Peshekee since no one else could break the trail last year?

Chiefapple's advice is solid. There is a Quickymart located right at the Hotel/Casino for any last minute items or cravings and it also has a gas station and laundry. The Island Resort is sweet and you will have a great time!

Searched on FB, can't find anything about convoys for this year's Snoball. I'm new to all this, but finding current info about the Snoball is not easy.

If anybody is doing a convoy in MI on Friday 1/17, please let me know when and where you're meeting up. And if this isn't the right place for it, please PM me the details.

Maybe they haven’t created it yet. Give them time. It’s a big convoy from birch run.
