Yeah the ceramic coating is diff than a wrap. My guy said it was a 5 year coat but with our winters, salt, etc it would prob be more like 2-3 years. Just depends on climate and exposure to elements. There is also a ceramic enhancer that's like a spray wax that u can use to help maximize durability.

Only downfall is they will prob need truck 2-3 days. 1 day to prep, 1 day to apply, and then a day to sit, set up, and touch up if needed.

I would do whole truck. Front gets bugs and tar and raptors like to sling mud, road grime, etc up the sides. If it was a sports car I say just front bumper and hood.

You want to do an Xpel wrap over the front clip, and use the matte finish on the gray fender flares and bumper. Probabaly in the $2K-$3K range and then get the ceramic coat over the rest of the truck and over the new Xpel wrap.

well I don’t mind letting them keep my truck that long and I want to do keep looking good as possible, so whatever is the best for it.

Okay, I don’t mind spending that much of it keeps it looking the best it can. My problem is finding someplace to do all of that. I’ve had enough trouble around here just finding someone to do a clear wrap. The dealership didn’t even want to do that for me nor offer any other protection options. thank you for your time and advice.

First of all, congrats on the new truck! I also had my truck ceramic coated. I would definitely keep it in the shop for as long as the installer says it should. The coating needs to be kept dry and at a correct temperature during the curing process to have a good application. The coating definitely helps when washing the car and drying it off as well as protecting the paint.
