With the black and it being new... if u can swing a good ceramic coat job I feel it's well worth it. Was a game changer on my black 2500. Protects against swirls, light scratches, etc and makes it 100x's easier to clean and shine up! It should be cheaper since it's new and wont need a bunch of clay bar work to get swirls and scratches out etc. Just a thought if ur OCD like me!

Feels good doesn't it?
Yes, it does. It’s only the second new truck I’ve ever had, buying used most the time, but I wanted to experience the whole raptor ownership. I was so worried my wife was going to spill her coffee this morning in it like she normally does and I want the new truck smell long as possible. Haha

Congrats. Looking for the same one in Chicago. You said heavily discounted. Please tell me more!
Well this is down in MS and seems we have a whole lot of them here and half are still 2019s that they can’t move so are all discounted.
Most are not fully loaded like I wanted but not too hard finding ones that are.
I had a low price over in AL that two other dealers here had no problem matching, one of them just was more convenient. Total discount came to $8500 off list price. Well $500 of that list price includes a spray in bed liner a local place did for the dealership. crazy though how many have been at some the dealerships for over six months and they can’t sell. And dealers need them off their lot so that’s a very long time for an expensive truck sitting there.
oh and when I said the two here in MS had no problem at least matching that big of a discount, one of them which I bought from was the largest Ford dealership here which they told me they sold 100 F-150s this month so far and the other that had no problem matching maybe sold 20 units as a much smaller dealership in a small town but just needing to get rid of it, so you can see the discount wasn’t just because of backend bonuses for large quantities sold a month.
Thing is even with a big discount you pay more in finance charges not being part of any specials and my credit score is just below 850. that and all the mods you want to do afterwards it just an expensive purchase.

I am the same. I kept my black Lexus LX570 and it has all kind of scratches and dings in it which I don’t want happening to this truck. I’ve already been by two wrap places today trying to get information on doing a clear wrap but the main guys were off at both places. Did you do you whole truck or sections? Is it just as much as doing a complete vinyl colored wrap? I’m assuming it is since it’s the same amount of work besides the cost of the material changing per color.

I did my entire truck. It was 900.00 for whole truck, camper top, and wheels. Just depends on ur shop. But also had it done when new so very little prep work.

Oh wow well thank you for that information, that’s a lot less than I thought. The detail on doing the front takes a long time so thought due to price I may do sections but then kept thinking it’s best do the whole thing.
