Powdercoating Near PHX, AZ?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone near Phoenix, AZ knows a good place to get an intercooler powder coated. I’m also interested in getting my lower control arms and skid plate powder coated but anyone should be able to do those in my town, I live in Yuma and quality is rare...TIA

Check these guys out they are little over 2 hours east from you straight down interstate 8. Small mom pop shop but do outstanding work. They even coat top fuel pistons for some big teams . I live about 10 min from them. https://alphatechcoatings.com/

I will caution you i read on FRF that somebody had their intercooler done. Sand blast media got inside of it , he didn't know it and screwed the engine up . So your cooler needs to be very well sealed up to prevent that.

I took some parts to powder tech over by the mall and they did a good job

You will lose efficiency if you powdercoat or paint the intercooler.

Check out Thermal Dispersant coating by Techline Coatings. It only comes in black, but it sheds heat better than bare aluminum. Good stuff

I did a search for Powdertech in Phoenix and it shows them in Mesa and says they're "permanently closed"

When I was shopping to have my headers done on my Vette these guys were highly recommended by a few people. Took my longtubes to them and they did a phenomenal job.
