I parked my truck yesterday at 2pm in 13°F temps. It got down to negative 1 this morning and the current temp is 18°F. Door functions correctly.

Dealer did NOT replace latches or install weather gaskets/shielding. Fuel additive antifreeze was put in the door cables. It’s not a latch issue but cable issue. My friend is a service writer for BMW and they have the same issue as well.

Going in a week to a dealer for this problem. I have a 2018 and last winter no problems. 2 days ago I had the problem with the doors not locking. Drove home holding the door. It warmed up a bit and the problem went away. Will keep you posted after the dealer fix, hoping for that anyway...

F150forum has guys removing the rubber gaskets for air flow and spraying the latches heavy with WD40 to force any residual water out. Seems to work for most.
