Tried taking my 2017 in for this issue and they told me there's nothing they can do since this TSB is for 2018s only.

Any suggestions on how to get these idiots to flash my PCM?

Tell them it shifts like shit and to fix it, if under warranty. If not under warranty you may have to pay them to do the flash.

FYI, I had the flash done, it helped for a good while, but the odd shifting returned. I believe it is due to something with the "learning" strategy of the computer being reset. Somehow it goes back to it's evil ways a few month after being reset. If you are handy with Forscan, you can reset the transmission learning yourself, and it works.

I kind of wonder if there is some internal hard parts that are slightly out of spec and resetting the re-learn masks it for a while. A lot of folks say they have no issues, but I know it is not imagined. I've had 2 2018 F150 loaners, the times my Raptor has been in the shop, both with V-8's and they both shift very smoothly.
