DO my eyes deceive me, or did you manage to snag a super crew Raptor with NO MOONROOF!? If so... --RESPECT!

Having been in the market for the last few months, I think the OP’s deal looks pretty good.

Regarding Smurfslayer’s comment, I just did that about two weeks ago. Found the exact spec I was looking for: 2019, Magnetic, 802a, tech package, tailgate step, but most importantly no moonroof!

I ended up working a pretty sweet deal with an out of state dealer for about 10.5% off MSRP (I believe that works out to be under invoice?).

It was such an awesome day: An Uber to the airport, a free flight (purchased with miles), another Uber from the destination airport to the dealership, and finally a 350 mile drive back home. Consistently varying highway speeds, of course :)

It was funny...my sales guy at some point during the transaction called the truck a “base model Raptor”. I guess anything without a moonroof is base model to him.

I almost feel like I stole it.

You got hosed...should have given the wife your Raptor and you should have the new one! lol

As crazy as it sound She wanted mine and I didn’t want to give it up. I have my 2017 Avalanche color with all my fixings just the way I like it. Also it puts me first up for later when they update.Playing the long game

I see you are in Texas, which typically has some of the lowest priced Raptors compared to other states. What dealer did you end up buying it from and where are they located?

I would agree, but finding one without a moonroof was difficult. The dealerships that had one were not willing to deal. I bought mine from Crain Ford just outside Little Rock.

My dealer has 31 Raptors in stock (Maxwell Ford in Austin) and they are $8K off -- can get more if you negotiate right. Picked up my second 2019. For the cost savings, 2019 made more sense over 20.

Get'em while you can.

I’m glad you had a good experience with Maxwell because mine was not. Maybe I just got linked up with a couple of bad sales people, but I could not get them to respond to phone calls or email after multiple attempts on my part.
